Japan Leather and Leather Goods Industries Association is the comprehensive and cross-category business association including leather material, leather goods manufacturing and sales. It was founded March 12,1986. Currently 23 businesses participate in JLIA as members.
Leather, natural material with high function and raw taste, provides the broad range of
possibilities and attractive uses. Leather is indispensable for the recent consumer lifestyle with high interests in fashion, versatile needs and growing quest for affluence.
In order to contribute to the better consumer life and culture, JLIA assists the improvement and development of leather industry by handling many kinds of activities and lubricating the communication among people who take part in leather-related industry.
